What’s up WIN THE RACE team?!? I hope you are all enjoying your Saturday night and thank you for joining me for some Clash – Post P/Q Strategy.

Here’s how things shape up for tomorrow:

My Thoughts:

Heat 1

• Haley can win this. Fast as hell this weekend and great here last year.

• Curious to see how Bowman runs as he was fast in practice.

I wonder how Logano runs, as his times were surprisingly slow all around.

Heat 2

• RCR on the front row and both brought speed.

• Larson will be breathing down RCR’s necks. Can’t wait to watch this battle.

Truex fastest in practice, I wonder if he’ll be able to pass anyone.

Heat 3

• JGR teammates on the front row but think Bell wins this.

• Briscoe was fast in practice, wonder how aggressive he will be after what happened in practice with AJ.

Blaney has a fast car and starting in the back. This will be fun to watch.

Heat 4

• Predicted a great qualifying run for Byron and think he can win this Heat.

• Kaulig is fast this weekend, no doubt. Braking is key and AJ is an expert.

I hope Ty overcomes some bad luck here. This car is fast coming from the back.

Overall, it’s hard to tell much from this track. They are going less than 70 MPH and we do not have any extended lap times, only their fastest lap from NASCAR. Qualifying is a different beast in itself, and we had a good idea as to who was going to post decent qualifying times.

As of now, FOR BETTING:

I added Truex for .5 at 25/1 when he was fastest in practice. I added Haley for .5 at 25/1 when he won the pole for Heat 1.

This puts me at 2.8 units spent. After looking at everything, I am glad I didn’t put any money on the favorites as their numbers have not changed at all. I am also not thrilled with the longshots I bet, although Briscoe and AD3 are in decent positions to start their respective Heats.

Byron 15/1 .8 to win 12.8

Truex Jr. 25/1 .5 to win 10.5

Haley 25/1 .5 to win 10.5

Briscoe 30/1 .4 to win 12.4

Preece 60/1 .2 to win 12.2

AD3 60/1 .2 to win 12.2

Gibbs 75/1 .2 to win 15.2

What I think I want to do is put 1u on both Bell 7.5/1 and RCRowdy 8/1. That would put me at 4.8u with a minimum return of 8.5u should one of those 9 drivers win the Clash. I think this could give me a good shot as securing quite a few drivers that have a chance to start in the first two rows tomorrow. As I said earlier this week, I believe the winner starts in the first two rows.

 As soon as I make my final decision, I will let everyone know.

Again, and I cannot emphasize this enough. Bet within your means. I planned on spending some NASCAR bucks on this race because I have missed it so much and needed to get my fix. Having said that, I am trying to do everything with a purpose, and obviously trying to WIN THE RACE at all costs.
